少林武术

少林是中华武术中体系最庞大的门派，武功套路高达七百种以上，又因以禅入武，习武修禅，又有「武术禅」之称。

少林武术发源于嵩山少室山下丛林中的"少林寺"，该寺建于北魏孝文帝时期，根据《魏书》记载:「又有西域沙门名跋陀，有道业，深为高祖所敬信。诏于少室山阴立少林寺而居之，公给衣供。」

特点

少林武术源于金末元初，觉远上人西行致(今甘肃兰州)结识西北武术高手李叟，并在返回途中认识山西武术名家白玉峰，并将二人带回少林寺。李叟教大小红拳，棍术和擒拿;白玉峰传授自家武学并把寺院的十八手发展至一百八十手。从此就开始少林武术流传寺院，因而成就少林武术的发展。

少林寺因武艺高超，享誉海内外，少林一词也成为中国传统武术的象征之一，如古龙小说中的"七大门派"即为"少林、武当、昆仑、峨嵋、点苍、华山、海南"等派别，其中少林即位居第一门派。

少林武术作为一种人文文化现象，作为一种人体形态文化或是作为健身、御敌、竞技专案，在中国早已家喻户晓、妇孺皆知，已成为中华文化的宝贵遗产。
